Privacy Regulations

So in order to help you, we use data from you. We only ask for data that we really need.
Those are usually

• Name
• Sex
• Address
• Telephone number
• Email address
• Age

Sometimes we need a little more information such as

• Account number if you bought something
• Motivation if you signed up as a volunteer or participant
• BSN (social security number).

If you ask for help or volunteer, we make interview reports. These include personal matters.

You have contacted De Regenboog. For example, you want to become a volunteer or you have asked for help. Maybe you gave us money or bought something from us. We use your information only for the purpose for which you provided it.

We want you to get the support you need. It may be that we offer you something new that suits your needs. Say you're looking for a buddy because you're feeling lonely, we may also send you an invitation to a fun cruise.

What you tell us stays with us. We think this is important, because you should feel free to share sensitive and personal matters with us. We want you to be able to speak freely with us about, for example, your addiction, sexual preference, financial situation or (mental) health.

But there are some strict rules and laws that we, too, must comply with. If we have strong indications of violence or (sexual) abuse, we have to report it. And we do.

If you cooperate with an interview or photo shoot, we will make arrangements with you in advance.

Sometimes De Regenboog participates in a survey. In those cases, we use only anonymous data. We then make sure, that it can never be found out exactly who it is about.

We keep your data carefully. There are official rules and laws for that, which we follow neatly.

The data we have on you is yours to view. If you send us an e-mail, you will see what we have written down and kept about you. You can add something to the file yourself and sometimes you can ask for all the data to be deleted. Do you want that? Then send an email to fg@deregenboog.org.
