Volunteering Amsterdam

As a volunteer with De Regenboog Groep, you'll help make Amsterdam more social and beautiful. You do this as a buddy, connecting with someone who is lonely or has little to spend. You can also help in a walk-in centre for the homeless, a social firm or a neighborhood restaurant.

You get a lot in return. By becoming a volunteer, you can:

• Gain new skills and strengthen existing qualities.
• Create meaningful connections by helping Amsterdam residents you wouldn't otherwise meet.
• Contribute to a more inclusive and supportive community in Amsterdam.
• Develop a broader view of the city. You will see the (dis)equality and all the subcultures in your own Amsterdam.
• You will receive training from the Volunteer Academy.
• We organize activities for De Regenboog volunteers.

With just a few hours a week, your contribution is already valuable. To help you with your commitment, we offer training and support, so you can get started with confidence.
