I don’t have anyone to talk to about my situation; it feels like I’m on my own. I want to make a change in my life. That’s why I’m looking for a volunteer buddy—a kind Amsterdammer who’s a good listener and can give me some support.

- There are also waiting lists for language buddies for people with mental health challenges and newcomers. The waiting period can be up to two months.
