Inloophuis De Princehof is a walk-in centre during the day and a small-scale night shelter in Amsterdam at night. The night shelter is specifically for homeless LGBTQ+ individuals.
The night shelter
.
It's no fun for anyone to have to sleep on the streets at night. For LGBTQ+ people, unfortunately, it is also especially unsafe. We do our best to make all Regenboog places as welcoming as possible to everyone. Because we find in practice that, that does not work out enough for all homeless visitors we have extra care for LGBTQ+ people.
Aid to LGBTQ+ people
.
The Princehof's LGBTQ+ night shelter employs Regenboog staff who connect with issues around gender and sexual orientation. And with trauma or mental health vulnerabilities that may be related. As a result, they can also help find specialized counseling if the visitor wants it.
