De Regenboog World Pride Kick-Off!

Drag workshop by House of Hopelezz, featuring Ukrainian drag artists. Ignite your inner drag: let the fire burn and the glitter fly as a Queen, a King, or just be yourself! Please note: registration is required for the Drag Workshop, and space is limited.
4:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Join us for drinks! During the gathering, you can create a sign at any time to take with you to the Pride Walk. We’ll also tell you more about queer homelessness and the work of De Regenboog Groep.
Are you coming to the drinks? Please let us know in advance! Of course, you’re always welcome to drop by spontaneously.

Will you be joining the Pride Walk?
SATURDAY, JULY 25
Round up your friends, partners, kids, and neighbors to join us on the Pride Walk. How wonderful would it be to make our presence known as a large group of Rainbowers during this important Walk through our beautiful Amsterdam?
We’ll be gathering starting at 11:00 a.m. on Dam Square, on the side of the Nieuwe Kerk. You’ll recognize us by the De Regenboog Groep cargo bike. The Pride Walk starts at 12:00 p.m., and we’ll all walk together from Dam Square to Vondelpark. We expect to arrive at Vondelpark around 2:00 p.m. Don’t forget to bring your homemade sign!
Not joining the walk? Come wave along the route and give the parade an extra Regenboog smile!

All Colors East
WEDNESDAY, JULY 29
Alle Kleuren Oost is a colorful street festival featuring music, dance, spoken word, booths, and activities for all ages, taking place around the former Badhuis on Javaplein. De Regenboog Groep, together with Civic, will be there with a craft booth from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Come alone, with your buddy, or with your LGBTIQ+ buddy. You can meet up at our meet-up spot by the booth.

Canal Parade
SATURDAY, AUGUST 1
De Regenboog Groep will be participating in Canal Pride this year with a boat!
We deliberately chose not to use a party boat, but rather a boat that draws attention to queer homelessness: While many people celebrate Pride, an estimated 3,000 queer people have no roof over their heads. This group is particularly vulnerable on the streets. With our boat, we want to draw attention to this issue and highlight that Pride is also about safety, security, and being seen.
Be sure to come along the canals to enjoy the massive parade of boats, including the one from De Regenboog Groep! Want to come watch with other Regenbogers? We’re meeting at noon at the Wereldhuis! There’s a restroom available there. We’ll provide a fun atmosphere—please bring your own drinks. The parade starts at 12:00, and then we’ll be waiting for… boat number 39!
