Don't need that 380 euros from the government? You can choose to donate (part of) your energy compensation to De Regenboog Groep. We will make sure that the money ends up where it is needed most: at the walk-in centres that keep your homeless fellow citizens warm.
In the months of November and December you will receive 190 euros from the national government. In total that's 380 euros in compensation for high energy prices. Almost all households get this money through their energy supplier. It does not matter whether you actually have more costs and whether you have to live on a minimum or have much more to spend.
Energy compensation itself not needed?
If you don't need the energy offset money yourself, you can choose to give it to someone close to you who you know is tight. Also a very nice gesture, of course. No one in mind? De Regenboog Groep is here for the city's most vulnerable.
With eight walk-in centres, we are making sure the homeless can warm up this winter. Price increase or not: the stove in our walk-in centres is on, we serve hot coffee, cook a healthy meal and visitors can shower. Truly priceless is the human warmth we provide. Life on the streets is hard. In our walk-in centres people can recover a little.

Investing in renewable energy
Donations also enable us to invest in sustainability (solar panels, heat pumps, etc.). So that in the future we no longer have to depend on energy suppliers and countries where gas comes from. Én, in the case of renewable energy, we have fewer costs, leaving more money for everything else we help people with.
