Good news! Our new venue, Circus Odesa, opens on September 30! Right in the heart of Amsterdam, in the beautiful Beatrixpark, there’s a place where you’ll feel like you’ve stepped off the beaten path. Starting this fall, this historic round chapel will be the home of Circus Odesa.
Since 2022, we’ve been providing shelter and support to Ukrainian refugees in Amsterdam. With Circus Odesa, we’re taking a new step: from shelter to connection. We believe that the most beautiful things happen when people who wouldn’t normally meet get to truly know one another.
Circus Odesa is an ode to the displaced: a unifying meeting place for Ukrainians and Amsterdammers, filled with art and culture. It features a lively food and beverage area where you can enjoy delicious dishes and drinks. It’s a place where people get to know one another and new initiatives take shape.
Our kitchen serves Ukrainian dishes with a quintessentially Amsterdam twist, as well as Amsterdam dishes with a Ukrainian twist. Just like Circus Odesa itself: a beautiful fusion of flavors.

What is there to do at Circus Odesa?
Come on in for a cup of coffee or a delicious lunch. The food court is surrounded by alcoves featuring a variety of initiatives: from a 3D printing lab to a mini-library and from a Ukrainian grocery store to rotating exhibitions. There’s also an outdoor terrace by the water and a varied program featuring inspiring workshops and activities for all ages.
Your workshop or activity at Circus Odesa
We’re looking for great initiatives that would like to use the upper floor of Circus Odesa, De Piste, for workshops, performances, and other activities.
Do you have an idea for a workshop, performance, or program and are you looking for a suitable venue?
Circus Odesa is open to various types of activities, such as workshops, theater, dance, spoken word, music, art, photography, and children’s programming, including circus and theater.
In addition, De Piste is also available for rent for corporate events, weddings, and other gatherings.
