We hold walk-in consultations
Do you have trouble using a computer or understanding a tricky letter? Would you like someone to think with you when arranging one of your money matters or would you like help with a tricky phone call? Or do you find regular assistance too heavy or maybe even scary? Also for people who are already in the amicable process or WSNP of debt restructuring. We are happy to help you at one of our walk-in consultations. (Click below for exact times and places)
And if we can't help you during the consultation hour, we will always work with you to find a good solution together. Perhaps we will find someone more expert to help you further.
Getting a grip on your money, our background
Grip op je Geld is a new approach and consists of a unique collaboration. A collaboration between the city districts (West, Nieuw-West, Zuidoost, Noord and Oost) , De Regenboog Groep, MEE Amstel en Zaan, Humanitas, and social services (Sezo, ABC West, Doras, Civic and MaDi Zuidoost). This cooperation aims to help visitors to the walk-in easier, faster and applied with questions about mail and administration. This can be through practical help with mail, a quick referral to social workers, course, a workshop, or contact with a buddy. In addition to volunteers, there are always two social workers present (from social services and from MEE Amstel en Zaan) with knowledge of social legislation and recognizing limitations.
