We are looking for new volunteers in our walk-in centre AMOC West, who want to contribute to making it a nice and accessible place for everyone.
.Would you like to get involved with homeless people? These are the opportunities:
✂️ Hairdresser (once a week)
Give people a fresh start with a haircut.
📄 Help with resumes (1x per week)
Help visitors create their resumes. Do you speak one or more European languages (such as Romanian, Polish, Spanish, German, Italian, Bulgarian or English)? If so, that's a big plus. If necessary, we will also use translation tools together.
🎨 Creative facilitator (once every 2 weeks)
Supervise a fun arts & crafts morning or afternoon. We provide the materials, you provide the creativity.
🗣️ Telephone interpreter (on call)
Sometimes we need an interpreter quickly during intakes. Can you help translate over the phone and do you have a feel for social work? Then we are looking for you. Bulgarian and Romanian are especially needed, but all European languages are welcome. This is flexible and easy to combine, e.g. from home.
