Not everyone grew up with computers or smartphones. For many Amsterdam residents, the digital world is a maze. Think about e-mailing, using DigiD or installing apps - things that may be simple and obvious to you, but a source of stress for another.
A digimate helps someone one-on-one on their way. Quietly, step by step. You explain, practice together and offer a listening ear.
.No technical superhero needed - just someone with some patience, basic knowledge and a heart for people.
.What will you do?
- You help a participant with digital questions, for example: sending an email, filling out a digital form or responding to WoningNet
- You explain things in a simple, patient and friendly way .
- And you also offer some company - often just as important
Who are we looking for?
- We are currently looking for female volunteers in Amsterdam North .
- You are somewhat handy with basic digital skills
- You are available for six months or longer

Where and when?
You and your buddy will meet at your convenience. Count on one half-day per week or every two weeks, for the duration of 6 to 12 months.
