Description of the project
.Buurtkamer Kostelijk is a lively meeting place in Amsterdam West where local residents gather for a cup of coffee, lunch, an activity or a chat. A lot of things happen in and around the community room: there is a Login workshop, a second-hand store, a bicycle repair shop and activities are organized such as drawing and painting classes, Dutch lessons, a women's group and poetry afternoons.
The project is a good example of this.
As a lunch and bar staff member you will work independently in the kitchen and behind the bar. You provide a welcoming atmosphere and help prepare simple lunch dishes. You will be a recognizable face for visitors and contribute to a place where everyone feels welcome.
.Duties:
Receiving guests and having a chat
Making coffee and tea and providing drinks
Make a simple lunch (grilled sandwiches, eggs, pancakes, sandwiches)
Washing up and cleaning the kitchen
.Stocking and thinking about groceries
All-round support in the community room

Tweede Kostverlorenkade 15, Amsterdam
🕒 Opening hours: Monday through Friday 10:00 - 17:00
⏳ Number of half-day sessions: minimum 2 and maximum 6 per week
💰 Expense allowance: €1.75 per hour
