Description of the project
.De Opstap offers creative courses as a daytime activity for Amsterdam residents who are vulnerable due to mental health issues. Students develop their talents under the guidance of professional subject teachers. The classes encourage social interaction, self-confidence and personal growth. There is room for both structured assignments and free work, in line with a person's needs. Participants attend one half-day class per week, in a safe and engaging atmosphere. Working together and discussing the work done together are key.
