Description of the project
.De Opstap offers creative courses as day activities for Amsterdam residents who are vulnerable due to mental health issues. Students develop their talents under the guidance of professional subject teachers. The classes encourage social interaction, self-confidence and personal growth. There is room for both structured assignments and free work, in line with a person's needs. Participants attend one half-day class per week, in a safe and engaging atmosphere. Working together and discussing the work done together are key.
