Janneke van Loo - manager of walk-in centres, relief and refugee shelters, has worked at De Regenboog Groep since 1999
"You can argue about a lot. But not about the right to a dignified existence. At our walk-in centres, homeless people can walk in for free food, clean clothes and some love and attention. No one can do without that. The government's call to stay home because of corona has shown the city how many people have no home. Including the homeless who otherwise sit inconspicuously in the library or blend in with shoppers during the day."
