."I became enthusiastic about the work of De Regenboog Groep through a friend who works there. What she told me made me think about what I could contribute. Together with my business partner, I started a real estate agency a few years ago and we would like to do things differently: honestly and openly. And with that comes a bit of awareness.
Also the knowledge that people spend tons, sometimes over a million, on a house while others become homeless after a relationship breakup. There is a lot of unfairness in the distribution of wealth.
Lots of money
."There is a lot of money being made in this housing market. That also attracts a lot of people who want to earn from it. It's a busy market so then your positioning as a real estate agent is important. We choose for honesty and awareness. That is why we donate an amount per house sold to De Regenboog Groep and in particular to the Onder de Pannen project, where solutions are sought for people who become homeless when they cannot afford a house. Every year we donate an amount that depends on the number of houses we buy and sell. So when we grow, as we did last year, it is also good for De Regenboog Groep."
