Kathleen talks about our walk-in centres

Spread throughout Amsterdam we have 9 walk-in centres. In this video, Kathleen Denkers, site head of Makom open house, tells a bit more about the special work in a De Regenboog Groep walk-in centre.

A walk-in centre is a kind of home for homeless people, where they are seen as a person. As a human being. Where they can forget their worries for just a moment. The video was shot just before the corona outbreak, but typifies the importance of walk-in centres for the city. And thus also why we have kept them open with all our might in corona times and continue to do so with increased capacity to this very day.
