Ludwina (68) rents out a room in her own house to a fellow townsman and advises everyone else to do the same
."I have had my new roommate since October 1. She is a very powerful lady, just turned 49 and she is very neat. We give each other space without much agreement. Thus, I am always out and about, always going to people. Only I can't do all my appointments in a row anymore, so now I do a maximum of two in a day. Furthermore, she sometimes looks after a cousin's house and I look after my grandchild who I then also stay with. So we alternately have the house to ourselves. And I like to cook in the afternoon. Then I immediately do the dishes, so that after dinner all I have to do is wash my plate and relax. Ideal, because that way she has the kitchen to herself when she wants to cook. She cooks very healthy, with lots of vegetables and so on. I cook really Surinamese. She already ate my noodles once and she liked them. And my pie! Do you know that?
Fate ... and the rest goes by itself
.No matter what you believe in, there is a "destiny" that takes care of everything. I had a good feeling with her when we were introduced to each other, then everything goes naturally. It is also financially advantageous, because I will not be cut from any benefits and allowances, Onder de Pannen has arranged that really well. Everything is covered and without risk. Besides, I really like having someone in the house. I come from a large family and have always had a lot of people around me, which I find cozy. So I would advise anyone -who is thinking about renting out a room- to do so. You can indicate what kind of person suits you best, all the agreements are in a contract and the rest goes by itself. Also, the guidance from Onder de Pannen is very good!
