The Home Service
Because of the rush, we are temporarily not taking on any new jobs.
.A handyman team for and by people with mental health challenges. On bicycles and with their electric buses, they go around town to do chores for fellow townspeople who cannot do them themselves. The Homeservice team knows from their own experience what adversity means and is happy to lend a helping hand.
The work supervisors of the Homeservice ensure that the chores are done in an attentive and pleasant manner.
How does it work?
The service providers at Homeservice do different types of jobs:
- Small jobs around the house (such as hanging a lamp or changing a lock)
- Garden chores
- Laying laminate
- Small and large moving and transportation jobs
- Clean-up chores (not packing for a move)
The cost for the jobs is €5 per handyman per half day for the help and you pay for the materials needed yourself. The Homeservice works in Amsterdam, Weesp and Diemen

Are your hands itching? Do you feel like working for us as a handyman? Then apply through a work experience trajectory. A project supervisor will contact you. No need for a path but do you want to help? Then sign up as a volunteer.
