For our On Your Own Power trainings, we are looking for someone who enjoys teaching people about healthy and inexpensive nutrition.
What is On Own Strength?
At Eigen Kracht is a training for people who (temporarily) have less to spend and want more peace of mind and overview. The goal of the training is to promote financial self-sufficiency and increase self-esteem, thereby increasing social participation. The training takes place at low-threshold locations in various parts of the city, such as the Houses of the Quarter.
What will you do?
- Interactively provide information on healthy and inexpensive food during one of the meetings of the On Your Own Power training.
- Refer participants with complex questions to their GP .
- Discuss the following 3 topics (using information from the Nutrition Center) during the education session:
- What is healthy food and what do you need?
- What are cheap products?
- How and how long can you store food?
Who are we looking for?
- Education background in, for example, nutrition, health sciences, or dietetics
- And/or knowledge and experience in the field of nutrition
- Service-oriented attitude, affinity with the target group, socially engaged
- Social, open and friendly attitude to participants from diverse backgrounds
- Able to handle information from the training and participants confidentially
