About De Regenboog Groep
De Regenboog Groep strengthens Amsterdammers in a vulnerable position. We do this together with them and with hundreds of volunteers. Our projects and programs revolve around meeting, activation, recovery and self-direction.
.About the department and position
Within Team Work & Activation we support people who would like to work (again), but have difficulty finding a place in the regular labor market. We offer safe and meaningful workplaces where participants can develop employment skills, gain work experience and build stability, self-confidence and future prospects. We are currently looking for a:
Work Supervisor Laundry Colors & Homeservice, from July 2026 through October 1, 2026, for 24-32 hours per week, with possibility of extension.
As a Work Supervisor Laundry Colors & Homeservice, you will contribute to our mission by guiding participants within two hands-on, social workplaces. In Laundry Colors, you and participants will take care of laundry for homeless visitors of De Regenboog Groep's walk-in centres, other fellow locations and external clients. At Homeservice, you will supervise participants in a variety of chores and moving tasks for vulnerable Amsterdam residents.
This temporary vacancy is out as a replacement for two colleagues, who are both returning to their posts.
What are you going to do?
In this role you will supervise participants in a practical, coaching and motivating way within Laundry Colors and the Home Service. Together with colleagues, volunteers and participants you will provide a safe, enjoyable and learning environment.
You:
● supervises participants during daily activities in the laundromat and with chore assignments
● Contributes to a safe and positive work atmosphere in which participants can develop
● Provides customized guidance and translates learning goals into practical work
● maintains an overview in a dynamic work environment and introduces structure where necessary
● actively participates in daily activities such as washing, transporting laundry and chores
● collaborates with colleagues, volunteers and other teams within De Regenboog Groep
What will you bring?
This is what we think is important:
● A completed mbo education or similar work experience
● Demonstrated hands-on job experience
● Experience or affinity with people for whom regular work is not suitable
● You can work independently and actively seek cooperation
● You communicate easily and know how to adapt to different people and situations
You keep an overview, can change gear quickly and bring structure to a dynamic environment
● You are practical, like to roll up your sleeves yourself and have a flexible attitude
● Good command of the Dutch language
● Humor, patience and a positive attitude
What do we offer you?

● A gross monthly salary between €2,888 and €3,917 (FWG 40, based on 36 hours), in accordance with the GGZ collective labor agreement
● In addition to 8.33% vacation pay, a year-end bonus of 8.33% and travel allowance
