At the Claverhuis, on the Elandsgracht in Amsterdam, people from the neighborhood can go for a cup of coffee, activities and a good conversation. We also offer low-threshold access to help and services. We do this in the areas of welfare and health, housing and work and income. The Claverhuis is also accessible to local residents with more complex problems, such as dementia, addiction or psychiatric problems.
.We are looking for a day coordinator for 16-20 hours (44-56% employment)
as of February 1.As a day coordinator you will be responsible, together with colleagues, for the positive atmosphere and welcoming climate of this House of the Quarter in the heart of the Jordaan.
What will you do
✓ Together with colleagues, you will be responsible for the accessibility of the House
.✓ You will fulfill a role as a host and connect local residents to the House
.✓ You direct visitors to volunteer work and/or refer them to the right place
.✓ You supervise, encourage and motivate visitors, volunteers and participants
.✓ You pick up easy requests for help
.✓ You organize activities that promote social and mutual accessibility
✓ Performing housekeeping duties and working bar/kitchen shifts
.
This job suits you if you
✓ have a completed education at least at the mbo level
✓ have experience and affinity with people with mental health issues
✓ are a team player while being able to work flexibly and independently
✓ you feel at home in the Jordaan and know the social map
