Vacancy: Experience expert at project 'From mediation care to needs-based care'
Delen
About the project "From Interference Care to Needs Care"
.In Amsterdam, a group of people with misunderstood behavior remain out of sight of care. They avoid help, have little trust in professionals and, as a result, become increasingly distressed. Within this project we develop a working method in which experts by experience are given time and space to make real contact through presence-oriented work. From that trust, latent requests for help become visible and a bridge to appropriate support is created. This project is an action research, and a collaboration between GGD Amsterdam and De Regenboog Groep. It is a temporary appointment of up to 18 months.
.Your role
As an expert by experience, you are the key in reaching Amsterdam residents who do not (yet) let themselves be helped. You know what it feels like to get stuck, experience mistrust or fall outside the systems, and that is precisely why you can connect where others cannot.
.
You work outreach, approachable and relational, and you are a recognizable and reliable point of contact. You will bring the perspective of the Amsterdam resident into the network of professionals and relatives, and you will help to develop and test the new working method within the participatory action research.
You will also be able to contribute to the development of the new working method.
What you will do
- Build trust with Amsterdam residents with misunderstood behavior through presence, closeness and equality.
- Outreach and maintain contact, even when someone avoids help.
- Making latent requests for help visible through your knowledge of experience and sensitive attitude.
- Fulfill a bridging function between the Amsterdammer and the formal and informal care network.
- Signaling and feeding back needs, risks and opportunities to the project team and professionals involved.
- Cooperate in the participatory action research by sharing experiences, co-evaluating and developing the methodology.
- Cooperate with partners such as GGD, GGZ, District GGD, neighborhood teams, volunteers and loved ones.
What you bring
.This is what we think is important:
- Lived experience with recovery, dysregulation, misunderstood behavior, homelessness, addiction or other relevant background.
- Ability to use your experience professionally and methodically.
- An open, equal and non-judgmental attitude.
- Experience with or interest in presence-oriented and outreach work.
- Reflective ability and willingness to engage in peer review.
- Education to become an expert by experience (MBO/HBO).
What we offer
A meaningful role in an innovative ZonMw project that contributes to inclusion, meaning and better connection of Amsterdam residents with misunderstood behavior. And further:
- Space to help build a new way of working that can have regional and national impact.
- A warm and diverse partnership of formal and informal partners.
- A gross salary of minimum €3,560 and maximum €4,716 (FWG 50) based on 36 hours
- A contract for 16 hours per week
- Conditions of employment in accordance with CAO GGZ
- In addition to 8.33% vacation pay, a year-end bonus of 8.33%
