About De Regenboog Groep
.De Regenboog Groep strengthens Amsterdammers in a vulnerable position. We do this together with them and with hundreds of volunteers. Our projects and programs revolve around meeting, activation, recovery and self-direction.

.About Circus Odesa
.In Beatrix Park, right next to a convent that serves as a Ukraine shelter, there is a beautiful (former) Chapel. Here De Regenboog Groep has opened a new location called Circus Odesa. Circus Odesa will be an entrepreneurial meeting place for Ukrainian displaced persons, combined with daytime hospitality, room rental, socio-cultural initiatives and events. We will offer work experience placements there for both Ukrainians who would benefit as well as other Amsterdam residents with distance to the labor market.
The concept for Circus Odesa consists of a market hall model, with a central area for catering and, around it, space for initiatives from the Ukrainian community, events, courses and hall rental. Circus Odesa involves the neighborhood, volunteers, local entrepreneurs and businesses in the Zuidas in its programming. We started over a month ago with a coffee kiosk, a Ukrainian mini-market and the rental of the Etage. From here, we will build on.
As Location Head/Business Manager you will directly manage 4 colleagues, you will be responsible for the catering, rental and monthly programming of activities and (rental) events in this start-up phase. Together with your team you will ensure that Circus Odesa develops step by step into an inviting place where hospitality, quality and connection come together.
You will lead - and work closely with - the colleagues responsible for the Ukrainian shelters and receive guidance from the Program Coordinator Work & Activation.

You do not let a full restaurant and a full agenda drive you crazy; it is precisely in the dynamics that you know how to switch quickly, keep an overview and act in a solution-oriented way. You are energetic and enthusiastic. With visible pleasure in your work you know how to convey your positive attitude to colleagues, participants, guests and tenants.
In addition, we hope you have the following to offer:
- HBO working and thinking level;
- Minimum of 4 years working experience as a hospitality business manager/social entrepreneur
- You are enterprising and actively seek collaborations .
- You see opportunities in social entrepreneurship and translate the plan for Circus Odesa into concrete activities .
- You think in possibilities, are solution-oriented, creative and respond flexibly to change .
- You keep an overview, lead in a facilitating manner but do not hesitate to take the reins where necessary
- You are connecting: you bring artists, local residents, startups and social initiatives together
- You have an eye for differences in background and culture and know how to deal with them carefully and respectfully.
- Experience working with people with a mental health background, addiction issues or homelessness is a plus
- Working evenings, weekends and holidays are not a problem for you;
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages. Command of Ukrainian or Russian is a plus
What do we offer you?

- A gross salary of minimum €3,560 and maximum €4,716 (FWG 50) based on 36 hours
- The opportunity to make a difference for a diverse group of Amsterdam residents, including Ukrainian refugees and fellow citizens for whom work is not a given
- Conditions of employment in accordance with collective agreement GGZ
- In addition to 8.33% vacation pay, a year-end bonus of 8.33%
- Travel allowance and development opportunities
- A 7-month contract with the prospect of extension or permanent employment
