About De Regenboog Groep

De Regenboog Groep strengthens Amsterdammers in a vulnerable position. We do this together with them and with hundreds of volunteers. Our projects and programs revolve around meeting, activation, recovery and self-direction.

Who are we looking for?

As Program Coordinator of the Work & Activation Department, you will ensure that people who are often sidelined participate again by offering them meaningful work, participation and perspective.

It is a versatile position in which you will manage employees, make social impact and develop yourself as a leader.

About the Work & Activation Department

The Department Work & Activation offers meaningful work for everyone who wants to (re-)get started; Amsterdam residents, EU citizens, (economically) homeless people and newcomers.

We offer work in small teams, with expert guidance and training: including in green spaces (in Garden Park Lisbon), in a crafts workshop (at our bookbinding shop or sewing workshop), in the hospitality industry (at our catering company Kluts!) or in a social firm like the Buurtboerderij or Villa Buitenlust. We see work as part of a bigger picture and actively seek cooperation with entrepreneurs, employers and partners in the city. So that people not only gain work experience, but also find connection, rhythm and future perspective.

What are you going to do?

In this role you will ensure further development of the offerings within Work & Activation, together with colleagues, participants and collaboration partners in the city

In this role you will work directly with two other colleagues, one of whom will be another Program Coordinator.

You:

  • manages work supervisors and pathway coaches
  • .
  • Develops and improves the offer of work routes so that they fit well with participants and the job market
  • .
  • stimulates team development and cooperation
  • works on additional work programs for specific target groups, such as EU citizens, status holders or young adults
  • .
  • liaises with municipalities, employers and other partners
  • promotes cooperation, connection and a pleasant working atmosphere within the department and organization
  • forms a team together with your fellow Program Coordinator
  • bears responsibility for agreed upon results and is accountable to the Manager of Work & Activation

What will you bring?

  • HBO level of thinking
  • Leadership experience in a similar position or a clear desire to develop in the role of lead
  • Conviction of the value of participation, reintegration and work for all
  • Knowledge of participation and reintegration regulations, or a strong desire to learn
  • Experience working with people with a mental health background, addiction or (ex-)homelessness
  • A connecting and stimulating collaborative manner
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to be clear but also navigate
  • when necessary
  • The ability to prioritize, work is never finished so choosing and/or tolerating unfinished work is necessary
  • An excellent command of the Dutch language, both oral and written
  • You think in possibilities, are resourceful and dare to color outside the lines

What do we offer you?

  • Gross monthly salary between €4,000 and €5,294 (FWG 55, based on 36 hours), depending on experience and education, in accordance with the GGZ CAO
  • 8.33% vacation pay and 8.33% year-end bonus
