About De Regenboog Groep
De Regenboog Groep strengthens Amsterdammers in a vulnerable position. We do this together with them and with hundreds of volunteers. Our projects and programs revolve around meeting, activation, recovery and self-direction.
.De Derde Schinkel is part of De Regenboog Groep and consists of several learning/working companies where people are guided to day activities, volunteer work or paid work. We are looking for a work supervisor for our catering company Kluts!
At Kluts! five days a week we cook, bake and prepare for a variety of assignments, such as meals for walk-in centres, lunches for colleagues and delicious buffets for external organizations.
As a work supervisor catering you will contribute to our mission by guiding participants in their development towards greater independence, work experience and participation.
What are you going to do?
In this role you will be (chef) cook, entrepreneur and work supervisor at the same time. You will work together with participants, colleagues and partners on a well-run catering company as well as on the development of the participants. You:
- Supervise participants in their daily work in the kitchen and support them in achieving their development goals. You will be able to translate development goals into practical activities.
- actively seeks new assignments and has fun coming up with and developing tasty and nutritious meals and new concepts
- fills a coordinating role in the kitchen, but also actively works on your own, providing a good structure and working atmosphere
- takes care of administrative tasks such as purchasing, invoicing, timekeeping, compensation and planning/agenda management
- contributes to a pleasant, safe and motivating work environment
- works closely with the track coach to promote the development of participants, with the track coach being the first point of contact for possible next steps
What will you bring?
This is what we think is important:
- A completed mbo education and experience working with people with a mental health background
- Experience working independently in a professional (production) kitchen
- Cooking certification is a plus
- You can manage a small team and are comfortable working with different audiences
- You have good communication skills and a sense of humor
- You actively identify and exploit opportunities for new assignments, collaborations and clients, with an eye for both the development of participants and the growth of Kluts!
- You independently develop and improve products, services and work processes within the kitchen and proactively establish contact with (potential) clients .
- You are organizationally strong; computer work, administration, planning and client contact come easily to you

- A gross salary of minimum €2,804 and maximum €3,803 (FWG 40) based on 36 hours
- Conditions of employment in accordance with the GGZ collective agreement
- In addition to 8.33% vacation pay, a year-end bonus of 8.33%
- Travel allowance and development opportunities
- One year contract with a view to extension or permanent employment .
