Z! is Amsterdam's street newspaper: the newspaper that sees the city from the street. Our sellers are homeless people who can work towards a more stable life with the sales of Z! At Z! we are always evolving and want to increase our impact by giving more sellers opportunities and expanding our network of sales locations.
We are looking for a work supervisor who not only guides salespeople, but coaches them to grow. In their sales skills, in their self-confidence and in their reach. Because in addition to the familiar supermarket, there are opportunities at the neighborhood pub, the theater, the nursing home around the corner. You help salespeople take that step and you yourself build the network of locations that makes that possible.
Your duties will include:
- Supporting and coaching salespeople in their daily work and personal development .
- Strengthening sales skills: from presentation and customer contact to finding and leveraging new sales locations
- Organizing and further developing salesperson training
- Actively expanding our venue network, from hospitality and theaters to cultural institutions, and maintaining those relationships
- Collaborating with community partners for recruitment and referral
- Think about the further development of Z! as a social platform
This position suits you if you:
- Demonstrable experience in supporting vulnerable audiences .
- Areneurial and see opportunities to expand our network
- Good at building and maintaining relationships
- Solid in your shoes and can switch well between different tasks
- Have very strong social and communication skills
- A team player who is planned, results-oriented and flexible
- Have affinity with the target group and the social mission of Z!
