A more social city, help

We cannot exist without the help and support of our donors and volunteers. Because with your contribution, someone can take a hot shower at one of our drop-in centers, people in need have a buddy, refugees are taken care of, economically homeless people get their lives back on track and much more.

Helping can be done in a variety of ways. Whether you become a volunteer, donate an amount or set up an action. Together we make a difference.
Thanks for your support!

Donating can be done in many ways

You can give one-time money or become a permanent donor. But maybe bequeathing is for you, too. Or you want to donate with tax benefits. Want to know more about the different possibilities to contribute financially to our work? Contact Fre Meijer, fmeijer@deregenboog.org or 020 53 17 600

.

Leave something special to townspeople

The Rainbow Group as an heir? Or leave a bequest or fund in our name? We are happy to discuss the possibilities in person. We take care of the (notary) costs and the heirs pay no inheritance tax.

.

Donate with tax benefits

If you commit your donation for at least five years as a periodic donation, you can deduct your gift from your taxes. You will then receive a portion of the amount donated back from the tax authorities.

The Regenboog as legatee or heir....

Many people care about De Regenboog Groep and everyone expresses this in their own way. We see Aardige Amsterdammers helping others from personal experience. We see them volunteering selflessly. Or they donate stuff or money, simply because it is needed more elsewhere. And increasingly, people are including us in their wills. The Regenboog as legatee or heir. For a more social city. Nearly fifty years ago, just after the hippie era, we started. Then we helped addicted young people in the Vondelpark. Now we help thousands of Amsterdam residents scattered throughout the city. People who are homeless, have mental health problems, debts and addictions. People who are lonely, refugees, battered. People can be in trouble for whatever reason. Often it is a combination of problems. We help and offer opportunities. With, for example, nine walk-in centres in Amsterdam and one in Zaanstad. Soon more walk-in centres will be added. These are places where homeless people can catch their breath and are seen as human beings. That this valuable work continues to exist and can adapt to the future needs of our city, you can contribute to that. Even after life. Talk about it "Let's emphasize the importance of bequests," advocates Marloes Wijnekus, fundraiser for De Regenboog Groep. "Support from donors gives us security for the future and bequests are an important part of that. This security is necessary because our work -happily- will also be needed for a long time to come. The demand for help is only increasing: more walk-in centres, more economically homeless people. Often people are reluctant about this subject and we only know that we receive a bequest or inheritance after the donor has died. Of course, we always very carefully find a nice destination, but more openness I would welcome. Talk about it. Also with us, then together we can even give the bequest a specific purpose; maybe even nicer." Leave money to De Regenboog Groep.
