More and more people in Amsterdam and Amstelveen are becoming homeless without you seeing it right away. They are sleeping on the couch with friends or family - after a divorce, job loss or because the housing market is at a standstill.
At De Regenboog Groep we are there for them. With social work, walk-in clinics and one-on-one contact, we offer support and perspective. That's where we need you.
What will you do?
You can choose from two options:
1. One-on-one buddy
.
You meet weekly or every other week with someone who is (temporarily) without housing. You offer a listening ear and help where needed - sometimes with paperwork, sometimes just a good conversation. You meet in a nice, public place: a community center, library or coffee place.
2. Help at the walk-in clinic
During our walk-in consultations, you'll help people respond to housing or learn how to use their phones and DigiD. These consultation hours are during the day or early evening, throughout Amsterdam.
