De Regenboog Groep tackles social problems in the city and offers people perspective (again). Team Work & Activation of De Regenboog Groep helps people who would like to work (again) but have difficulty finding a place in the regular labor market. We focus on participation, reintegration, training and developing work skills. People can choose from various workplaces at different social firms such as The Buurtboerderij and work companies like The Bookbindery, sewing studio ZigZag, sound studio DigiVibes, print shop The Repro or: Bicycle repair shop Bike Clinic.

For Bike Workshop Bike Clinic we are looking for a bicycle mechanic/work supervisor for a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of 32 hours per week.

About Bike Clinic

.

De Regenboog Groep runs a small bicycle workshop near Central Station, with two max three work stations. Participants - Amsterdammers with a distance to the labor market - are given the opportunity here to learn the bicycle repair trade under supervision. The Bike Clinic does simple repairs on city bikes of local residents and users of the office buildings located around the Bike Clinic. The participants have a background with psychological and/or addiction problems, and/or homelessness and are ready for a step towards day activities and ideally eventually paid work.

.

In and around the Bike Clinic there is plenty of room for development. The bike shop is located in a building with many small business owners, who have a desire to collaborate. Cooperating with local residents and possibly expanding the possible work for participants is also on the wish list for 2026.

.
