The Temporary Housing team coordinates temporary housing for people who have lost their homes due to divorce or job loss and/or debt. Through hospita hosting, renting through the vacancy law or occupying vacant homes or offices, we ensure that vacant square footage is reoccupied. In this way, we prevent long-term homelessness and create a flow-through plan with our tenants aimed at finding housing of their own.
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who shares our ambition to put the Tijdelijk Wonen projects further on the map in Haarlem and surroundings. It is an independent, dynamic and all-round position, in a small team, in which you will regularly switch from implementation to other work.
Your duties will include the following tasks:
- Building and maintaining a relevant network in the Haarlem region by, among other things, giving information and presentations .
- Recruiting landlords; thinking along in development and recruitment policy and seeing opportunities and possibilities
- Matching, guiding and evaluating tenants and landlords
- Sharing knowledge with-and being a sparring partner for-your immediate colleagues and relevant stakeholders
- Administrative handling of subletting (drafting agreements, calculating rent, financial administration, monitoring termination procedure, etc.)
- Contact and administrative handling with agencies (such as tax authorities, benefit agencies, housing associations) and find out financial and legal consequences and possibilities in new situations .
This position suits you if you:
- Have a relevant college education;
- Have at least 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, social and/or commercial (housing association or similar); (heavy requirement)
- Have affinity and/or experience with the target group of Temporary Housing
- Knowledge of the social map in Haarlem and surroundings .
- Works with an open attitude, meticulous, social and communicatively strong.
- Able to work independently in a team .
