Blaka Watra is one of the Rainbow Group's ten walk-in centres. Here, an average of 120 homeless visitors find peace of mind daily after a day or night on the streets. We are looking for a day coordinator to join our team for 32 hours a week!
Our walk-in centre is a place where our visitors feel at home and can take a break from life on the streets. We have a shower, computers and distribute a hot meal daily. Our visitors can also contact our social work with questions about income, papers, housing, health and much more. In addition, Blaka Watra has a user room and a small, cozy chicken garden!
.Job Description
The day-coordinator is responsible for the daily operations and ins and outs of the walk-in centre. Setting a pleasant atmosphere is very important here. Besides doing the daily chores in the walk-in centre, you are an important point of contact for our visitors and you stand firm in your shoes. Together with your location manager and the team you look at how we can improve our service.

Your duties will include
.✓ Implement the activities resulting from our policies
.✓ Doing minor administrative work
.✓ Creating and maintaining a friendly and safe atmosphere for our visitors
✓ Supervising interns and volunteers
.✓ Signaling changes in the field

This position suits you if you
✓ Have an MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level
✓ Stress-resistant, flexible, communicatively strong and decisive
✓ Able to work weekends and evening hours as well
✓ Are familiar with addiction and psychiatry
✓ Command the Dutch language verbally and in writing, speaking a second foreign language is a plus (Arabic, French or Romanian )
